AI & Machine Learning

The intelligence layer of GENBOT — gesture recognition, reinforcement learning and on-device inference.

The AI & Machine Learning department builds the intelligence inside GENBOT's robots. Members work on models that run on the devices themselves, so robots can react to the real world in real time — from recognising a hand gesture to learning a navigation policy.

Core research areas

  • Gesture recognition — hand tracking for human-robot and human-computer interaction.
  • Reinforcement learning — policies trained in simulation and deployed to hardware.
  • On-device inference — models that run on embedded hardware without cloud round-trips.
  • Edge processing — real-time perception for drones and humanoids.

Projects under this department

  • NexBot — adaptive learning and real-time environment response.
  • PathFinder — reinforcement-learning navigation policies.
  • Gesture Desktop — MediaPipe hand tracking, live on this website.

Skills you build

Machine learning fundamentals, computer vision, reinforcement learning, model deployment and edge AI — applied to projects that are actual robots, not tutorials.
