Computer Vision

Giving GENBOT's machines the ability to see and decide — object tracking, aerial mapping and edge processing.

The Computer Vision department builds the perception layer of GENBOT's robots. From tracking objects on the ground to mapping from the air, the team turns camera feeds into decisions — fast enough for real machines.

What the department works on

  • Object tracking — keeping drones and robots locked onto moving targets.
  • Aerial mapping — stitching drone imagery into usable maps.
  • Edge processing — running vision models on board so decisions happen without cloud latency.
  • Hand tracking — MediaPipe pipelines for human-robot and human-computer interaction.

Projects under this department

  • DroneX — aerial tracking and mapping on edge hardware.
  • NexBot — a vision pipeline for detecting and interacting with humans.
  • Gesture Desktop — hand-tracking in your browser, live on this site.

Skills you build

Image processing, detection and tracking models, model deployment to edge hardware and camera hardware — core skills for AI, robotics and autonomous systems careers.
